Comments: I immigrated to Canada with my mother who was a war bride from Scotland on board the Aquitania sometime in the early months of 1947, I was four at the time. I remember the ship well even at that age. A friend recently sent a picture of the ship to me when he discovered I had been on it. Great site!

Comments: Sailed on the Queen Mary in 1967 as a ships plumber. This grand old lady was pure quality and luxury. Superb ! Joined P&O Line in late 1967 and after sailing on Canberra and Chusan, joined Arcadia. She too was a beautiful liner. Stayed on Arcadia until finally leaving the sea in 1972.
