Joined P&O Line in late 1967 and after sailing on Canberra and Chusan, joined Arcadia. She too was a beautiful liner. Stayed on Arcadia until finally leaving the sea in 1972.

Was watching the Queen Mary steaming past the ship that I was serving on in the Atlantic. It was very misty and to see this fine ship sunddenly appear out of the mist was something unforgettable.
